Jonathan Pierpont Warner
No stranger to health care and health insurance, Jon has 25 years experience consulting
employers and individuals on insurance options. He has also been a hospital patient five times in his life, most recently
in 2007. Jon's wife is a cancer survivor and both of his parents died from acute illnesses while in their early 50's.
Born and raised in the Lehigh
Valley, Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and Middlebury College in Middlebury,
Vermont.
Jon
is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Fellow, a graduate education program developed by The International Foundation
fo Employee Benefits Plans (IFEBP), the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) and the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He authored an article on HMO legislative changes that was published
in 1989 and wrote a paper called "From Managed Care to Financed Care", published in 2002.
Jon's entrepreneurial career started after 12
years as a Benefits Consultant and Vice President for regional and national insurance firms. He owns JP Warner Associates,
Inc. and Human Resource Administrators, Inc., a licensed, bonded Third Party Administrator (TPA). Jon is also a partner
in Warner Benefits, Inc. with his brother Andrew. The combined businesses provide employee benefits consulting, insurance
brokerage, claims administration, retirement planning and investment services.
